Clinical Findings and Diagnosis:
The patient underwent a focused examination, yielding the following findings:
- Inspection: A localized external opening was observed at the 6 o’clock position on the anus, with active pus discharge.
- Digital Rectal Examination (DRE): Sphincter tone was within normal limits. Palpation identified an internal pit consistent with the fistula tract opening, also located at the 6 o’clock position. No evidence of bleeding was noted.
Diagnosis: Fistula-in-ano at the 6 o’clock position.
Management:
The treatment protocol involved the application of the Kshara Sutra procedure.
- Procedure: Kshara Sutra ligation was performed.
